He’s always looking out for his humans and his greyhound friends—especially his kennel mate Jessie, who is a little more reserved. Albert helps her feel safe and confident, always there with quiet reassurance. He truly has a heart of gold.

He’s laid-back, patient, and always calm. He waits politely for his turn, keeps his kennel spotless, and is such a well-behaved boy. We do not doubt that his well-mannered nature will carry over into his forever home—he’s simply a pleasure to be around.
He truly has it all. Anyone lucky enough to know Albert will quickly realise he’s everything you could ever want in a companion. His easy-going nature makes him happiest when he’s lazing around, snoozing the day away after breakfast, morning walkies, and a bit of playtime.
Albert is incredibly social and friendly, forming strong bonds easily with both humans and other hounds. There’s not a single bad bone in this boy’s body—he genuinely loves to be loved and cherishes every moment with his special people.
Albert has fitted right into life here at Clark’s Farm, quickly becoming a cherished part of the family. He won us all over with his loving nature and gentle spirit. His kind, calming energy and his natural ability to connect with humans make you feel instantly safe and truly loved.
He’s incredibly in tune with what’s going on around him and always seems to know when someone needs one of his special cuddles. On tough days, Albert is the one who brings comfort.
Though Albert is an old soul at heart, he’s also just two years old and still has his fun-loving, puppy-like side. He enjoys a good play with his toys and loves being a little bit silly with his humans. Often, when you go in for a cuddle, he’ll get the zoomie bums from pure happiness—it’s so adorable to watch, and it just makes him even more loveable.
Albert is an absolute gem of a dog, and we truly hope this special boy finds his forever home soon. He deserves a life filled with love, comfort and all the cuddles in the world.
Albert retired due to an injury to his pelvis. He is fine within himself and lives a happy, active life, but it’s something to be mindful of so that he isn’t over-exercised. He loves his walks and playtime here at the kennels, and we know this old injury won’t hold him back from enjoying his forever home and going on all sorts of lovely adventures.
Albert currently shares his kennel with Jessie, who he adores. From the moment they arrived, Albert became a source of comfort and confidence for her, especially as she was a little more reserved.
He showed her that everything was going to be okay and offered gentle reassurance throughout their settling-in period. Watching him care for her just showed us even more what a truly exceptional dog Albert is, and how lucky his future family will be to have him by their side.
He would happily share his forever home with another hound or two, as he’s very social and friendly with the other greyhounds. That said, Albert is also an independent boy and would be just as content being the only dog in the home, surrounded by his humans and soaking up all the love and attention.
Albert would be best suited to a calm and loving home with adults, teenagers, or older dog-savvy children. While he’s wonderfully patient and adores people of all ages, a home without young children would be best, simply because he enjoys a laid-back lifestyle.
He is such a kind and gentle soul who would fit beautifully into a variety of different environments.
During his dog test, Albert was a little confused at first by Blossom, but after some curious sniffs, he quickly worked out she was a dog and was very happy to walk alongside her with no issues. Like many greyhounds, Albert will need continued positive socialisation with other breeds in his forever home, but he’s already off to a great start.
Albert truly is everything you could ever want in a Greyhound. He will change his forever family’s life for the better, bringing so much love, joy, and companionship into their home.
Whoever opens their heart to Albert will gain not only a loyal friend but a once-in-a-lifetime companion.
