Beryl has the sweetest personality, striking the perfect balance between laid-back, loving, and just the right touch of sass. She’s the kind of girl who’ll fill your days with cuddles, love, and endless smiles.
She’s incredibly lovable and somehow wraps you around her paw without even trying. Her happy-go-lucky nature and sociable spirit mean she gets along wonderfully with both people and hounds, winning hearts wherever she goes.
Beryl is a pleasure to care for – always content, relaxed, and happy to go with the flow. In the kennels, she’s easy-going and calm, taking everything in her stride.
She’s beautiful on the outside, of course – just look at that face – but her real beauty lies in her loving heart and joyful soul.

Everyone who meets Beryl falls in love with her silly, loving ways – and it’s easy to see why. She’s the kind of dog who leaves a little piece of joy behind wherever she goes, and we truly don’t think she’ll be with us for long.
Beryl is also wonderfully social with her greyhound friends. She previously shared her kennel with the lovely Genie, and the two got on brilliantly. She’s more than happy to share her space and would love a home with another hound or two to keep her company.
That said, Beryl is currently kennelled on her own and is more than content in her own company. She enjoys a bit of independence and would also thrive as the only hound in the home, soaking up all the love and attention for herself.
She’s adaptable, easy-going, and just happy to be surrounded by love, whether that’s from two-legged or four-legged friends.
Beryl would happily live alongside older children, teenagers, or adults. While she’s calm and gentle, she does have bursts of playful energy, so we feel a home without very young children would suit her best.
A slightly older human playmate would be perfect to share in her fun and cuddles. She’d also be more than happy in a calm, adult-only home where she can be the centre of attention – something we know she wouldn’t mind one bit!
During her dog test, Beryl was full of joy and excitement. She was so happy to see Blossom, she didn’t quite know what to do with herself – leaping about with happy little lamb jumps and lots of eager sniffs!
Once that initial excitement passed, she soon settled, and the two girls enjoyed a lovely walk together. Since then, she’s met other dogs and continues to do really well – once that first burst of excitement wears off, she settles into a calm and friendly companion.
Beryl just loves life, people, and making new friends – whether human or hound. That’s what makes her so special. She brings happiness wherever she goes, and we love her so much for the light she brings into our lives.
She’s settled into life here beautifully, and every day we spend with her makes us love her even more.
