Cheddar is truly a special boy, and from the moment I met him, I knew there was something unique about him. I have formed a deep connection with this wonderful greyhound and have adored everything about him.
He is not only absolutely beautiful but has a personality just as charming to match. There is something incredibly loveable about his kind and sensitive nature – it’s hard not to fall in love with him.
In the kennels, Cheddar has settled in like a dream, as if he has always been here. He has bonded effortlessly with those around him, showing us that he will be a fantastic companion.
Cheddar is nacho average greyhound- he’s one of a kind and oh-so loveable!
He carries himself with such calmness and grace, always the perfect gentleman, and he is more than ready to shower his future family with love and affection. Being around him is simply a joy – he has a peaceful and reassuring energy that makes you feel at ease in his presence.
It took Cheddar a few days to truly show off his personality. He wasn’t shy or nervous, just a little reserved as if he was quietly taking everything in. But once he got to know us and his surroundings, his true self began to shine and he’s as brie-lliant as they come!
This is what makes him so special, and we are lucky to have been rewarded with getting to know the sweetest, most charming boy.
One of Cheddar’s most adorable quirks is his habit of standing at the front of his kennel, simply staring at us. At first, we thought it was a little odd, maybe just his way of keeping an eye on things. But then we realised – he was waiting for us to come over and cuddle him.
He will have you saying ‘Cheese’ every day because life with Cheddar is always full of smiles.
He doesn’t just enjoy human affection; he thrives on it. You can see in his eyes just how much love and attention mean to him, and how much it lights him up.
Cheddar’s calm and compassionate nature makes him the most wonderful companion. He is laid-back yet playful, balancing his relaxed side with bursts of fun during playtime.
His affectionate personality shines with those he knows and trusts, and while he might come across as a little aloof when you first meet him, it won’t take long for him to show you just how amazing and loving he is.
Cheddar is such a Gouda boy (Sorry I will stop with the cheese puns!) He is well-behaved, sweet and always ready to shower his humans with love and affection.
This incredible boy has everything it takes to be the perfect companion. With his kind heart, gentle manners, and unwavering loyalty, he will bring so much love and joy to his forever home. Whoever welcomes Cheddar into their life will be gaining not just a pet, but a devoted friend for life.
Cheddar is always eager to get going on his walks and can be a little strong on the lead at first. To help with this, he wears a harness, which has made a huge difference.
While he isn’t difficult to manage, he does need someone confident to guide him, as he can be quite enthusiastic when setting off. With consistency and patience, he is sure to continue improving, but his harness will need to be a part of his routine in his forever home to help him thrive.
In the kennels, Cheddar has shared his space with Ivy and other female greyhounds, always getting along beautifully with them. He is a social boy who enjoys the company of other hounds and seems perfectly at ease in their presence. Because of this, we believe he would be more than happy to live alongside another greyhound in his new home.
That said, Cheddar is first and foremost a people lover. He adores human attention and would be just as content as the only hound, soaking up all the love for himself.
Although Cheddar is very social, he does find young children a bit overwhelming. Their energy and excitement can be a little too much for his laid-back nature.
He would be best suited to a home with mature children, teenagers, or adults who understand and respect his calm and relaxed personality. This way, he can settle into his new life feeling completely comfortable and at ease.
During his dog test, Cheddar once again showed his polite and well-mannered nature. He was excited to meet Blossom and greeted her happily, sniffing her all over before they enjoyed a lovely stroll together. He was completely comfortable in her company, which just proves what a well-balanced and friendly boy he is.
Cheddar truly has everything you could ever want in a greyhound. His sweet, gentle, and affectionate nature will bring so much joy to his forever family, and we know he will change their lives. This extra-special boy is more than ready to find his perfect home, and we can’t wait for the lucky person who gets to call him theirs.
Cheddar is simply too grate to pass up. Once you meet him you won’t be able to resist taking him home!
