Dancer has had a few kennel mates during her time here, and she has always proven to be a sociable and easygoing companion. We know she would happily live alongside another hound in her forever home, especially calm, laid-back boys who are happy to let her snuggle up with them.
At the same time, Dancer has always been content in her own company when kennelled alone, so she would be just as happy as the only dog in the home. Her love for humans and her adaptable nature means she will settle beautifully, whether she’s part of a pack or the sole focus of her family’s attention.
During Dancer’s dog test, she was a little overexcited and eager to meet Blossom, showing a keen interest as she made her way over. Once she’d had some time and a good sniff, she realised Blossom was another dog and quickly calmed down.
With Dancer, her excitement around new dogs is more about over-arousal and enthusiasm than anything else, and it’s something that will improve with minor training and guidance.
This small quirk is far outweighed by her many positive traits and should not put potential adopters off. Dancer is still young, which means she is highly mouldable and will pick up training quickly with the right approach.
