Smaller male greyhounds are quite rare, so we know this special boy will capture hearts instantly. But while his size may be small, the love he has to give is enormous.
Fredy thrives on human connection and forms deep bonds with those around him. He loves one-to-one attention, and his whole face lights up when he realises he’s about to get snuggles.
He would adore being the centre of attention in his forever home, and anyone lucky enough to welcome him into their lives will never feel unloved.

One thing Fredy absolutely loves is his routine. Here at the kennels, he likes to be first for everything—first for food, first for walks, and then he’s happy to spend the rest of his morning snoozing until enrichment time.

Currently, he shares his kennel with Strawberry, and their bond is adorable. They are like two peas in a pod, and he gets along effortlessly with all the other hounds. Because of this, we know Fredy would happily share his forever home with another hound or two.
That said, his true love lies with humans, and as long as he has his people by his side, he will be just as happy as the only dog in the home. He is a wonderfully adaptable boy who will settle beautifully into many different home environments.
Fredy has had the chance to meet children of different ages during our “Meet the Breed” appointments at the kennels, and he has been incredible with them. He is naturally gentle and aware of the people around him, calmly standing and waiting for the children to approach him when they feel ready.
We believe he would thrive in a family home with children of most ages. While a home with very young, energetic children may not be the best fit for his laid-back personality, he would do well with children who match his calm and gentle nature.
That being said, Fredy would be just as content in an adult-only home or one with teenagers, especially if it means he gets to be the centre of his family's world. No matter where he goes, as long as he has love and attention, he will be a happy boy.
Fredy was an absolute star in his dog test. He and Blossom instantly clicked, getting all silly together in the sweetest way. His social skills were impeccable—he was well-mannered, friendly, and polite in his approach, greeting her with gentle sniffs before happily walking alongside her.
His fantastic temperament shines through in every interaction, whether it’s with humans, other hounds, or even different breeds. He is truly a superstar with a heart full of love to give.
