Ivy is a confident, affectionate, and wonderfully sassy girl who will love you endlessly. Overflowing with love and affection, she is ready to share her heart with every human lucky enough to meet her.
Ivy adores people and is just as cuddly with her greyhound friends as she is with us. It’s impossible to walk past her kennel without stopping for a hug or a kiss—her beautiful little face and floppy ears make sure of that!
She is a true cuddle bug and would love nothing more than to snuggle up on the sofa with her forever family, as happy as can be.
Ivy has the biggest personality and is completely sure of herself. Nothing seems to phase her—she takes everything in her stride with confidence and positivity. As long as she has her humans, food, and walks, she is perfectly content.
Her fun-loving and playful nature shines in everything she does, and her bursts of energy are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Life with Ivy will never be dull—her infectious joy and enthusiasm brighten every room she walks into, and her caring, cheerful spirit makes her truly special.

She does have a little more enthusiasm and excitement than some of our other hounds, but that’s exactly what makes her Ivy—her unique spark is what makes her stand out from the crowd. And don’t worry, she loves her sleep too! After a good walk and some playtime, she’s more than happy to relax and unwind.
Ivy is always happy, comfortable, and clean in her kennel, and we just know she’s going to be snapped up quickly. She is an exceptional girl who will bring so much love, laughter, and warmth into her forever home. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Ivy will gain a best friend who will change their life for the better.
Ivy is an adaptable and confident girl who we know will thrive in a variety of environments. Her outgoing and social personality makes her the perfect match for many different homes, and she may even have the potential to be a London dog, as she takes everything in her stride and remains completely unfazed by new surroundings!
Currently, she shares her kennel with Jinx and has also lived with male kennel mates in the past. She gets along beautifully with other greyhounds and would love to share her forever home with another hound or two.
However, as a self-assured and independent girl, she doesn’t rely on other dogs for confidence, so she would be just as happy as the only dog in the home, soaking up all the love from her humans.
Ivy is fantastic with people of all ages and would happily live in a home with children, teenagers, and adults alike. She adores human company, no matter how big or small, and we can easily picture her as the perfect playmate for children—perhaps even trotting along on the school run, tail wagging happily!
That being said, she would also enjoy the peace and routine of an adult-only home, where she could relax and enjoy the quieter moments. As long as she has her humans by her side, Ivy will be perfectly content.
During her dog test, Ivy was an absolute angel. She showed confidence and composure, even when she spotted some cats wandering nearby—she quickly lost interest and instead focused on enjoying her walk.
When meeting Blossom, she displayed perfect manners, greeting her politely before walking comfortably alongside her. Seeing Ivy so happy and at ease in every situation is truly heartwarming, and it’s clear that she is ready to bring that same joy and confidence into her forever home.
Ivy is a one-of-a-kind girl with so much love, fun, and companionship to give. She will brighten the lives of those lucky enough to adopt her, filling their days with laughter, cuddles, and her wonderful, infectious energy.
